Sustainability at Elada Institute

As part of its environmental responsibility and to reduce its impact on the environment, Elada Institute has launched several sustainability initiatives on all its properties to better manage resources such as water and electricity, and to reduce waste. All staff members, students and contractors of the Institute are encouraged to play their part in conserving the environment. Elada Institute aims to minimise the environmental impact of its operations and move towards restoring environmental integrity.

We are an educational institution that educates global citizens for sustainable development, offers relevant insights on urgent societal challenges and reduces the environmental and social footprints of its campus operations, empowers students and staff to act, and makes sustainability a central priority.

Sustainability Approach

Under our sustainability approach, we focus on five aspects that cater for both the society and the institution without any conflict of interest:

  1. Education: Empower global citizens for sustainable development
  2. Research: Discover answers to important social questions
  3. Operations: Achieve a zero footprint for campus operations
  4. Community: Empower students and staff to act on sustainability
  5. Governance: Make sustainability a priority for your organisation
